We are the reason
nobody sits down

Rhyme Or Reason plays the kind of night a town talks about until next summer. Main street blocked off, lights up, and a set built to keep every generation on the floor at once.

The catalogue runs modern country straight through Garth and Alabama, then swerves into Bon Jovi, Def Leppard and House of Pain when the crowd wants it. It is all played live — no tracks, no laptop.

Street dances, county fairs, festivals, weddings and private parties across North Dakota, Minnesota & the surrounding upper Midwest.

What a night looks like

Three things that happen at every show

Not a running order — these land all night long, whenever the room earns them.

  • Catch a drumstick

Sticks go into the crowd all night. Somebody goes home with a souvenir and a story.

  • Catch a t-shirt

Free ROR swag launched off the stage between songs. It never stops being a scramble.

  • Dance until last call

Ninety-nine songs deep, all killer. The floor stays packed from the downbeat to the encore.

See it for yourself

Straight off the stage

Real crowds, real nights, filmed by the people who were there.

  • Ultimate street dance & festival party band

  • Brand New Man — Brooks & Dunn

  • The Boondocks
